Boss’n the Moss, the full brother to Moss n dale continued the families trait of just winning horse races. Bossy, Mossys full brother, brought the tally to 22 race wins for the sons of Hot n moss, the star matron who has had only 3 foals to race, has done an amazing effort.

Bossy showed the customary trait of the family of digging deep when the chips are down, and just winning at Mornington today. The work of the Ash and Amy Yargi team cannot be underestimated, Bossy coming off a high suspensory surgery needed rehab, and was perfectly handled by the team. He has since won 2 races from 2 starts, making all his owners proud, and privileged to race him.

Hot n Moss, the daughter of Strategic Image left Te Runga farm with little fan fare as a yearling. Bluegrass bought her off good friend Wayne Larsen for $20,000 AUD, never would we have imagined the legacy she would leave. A winner of 2 races in Aus, Hot n Moss boarded the ship back to NZ to be mated to Castledale, the 7k stallion standing at Te Runga, the place of her birth.

Her first foal Moss n Dale was a winner of 14 races and over 1 million in prizemoney and a multiple stakes winner in Aus, 2nd foal Moss n Bolt a winner of 4 races and metro placed and her 3rd foal is Bossy, winner of 4 races from only 15 starts, may the legacy continue
